A Bit About Be Your Own Sunrise...

Be Your Own Sunrise® was created to help you increase your wellbeing if you are struggling or overwhelmed with stress and/or trauma. Be Your Own Sunrise® workshops and courses are designed to help you reduce and manage stress or trauma responses, be more present, and increase your confidence and well-being. Both the workshops and online courses are interactive, allowing you to meaningfully engage and practice wellbeing techniques as you learn.

The ‘Pathways To Joy And Inner Peace’ Workshop is a transformative experience designed to empower you with the tools and insights necessary to cultivate a deeper understanding of your ‘self’ and enhance your overall well-being. In this interactive workshop, you’ll embark on a profound but gentle exploration of your physiology (body) and psychology (cognitive/brain processes), guided by experienced facilitator Karina McCloud.

The workshop is a combination of learning the science of wellbeing, interactive exercises, group discussions, and strategic practices. You’ll be gently guided to develop awareness about your physiology, your psychology, and how these impact your unconscious and conscious choices, and wellbeing. By fostering self-awareness, you are better able to manage your thoughts, your emotions and other triggers that are impacting how you feel about you and the world around you.

By recognising habitual patterns and identifying the root causes of emotional responses and habits, you are more empowered to make conscious choices that align with your true values and aspirations. 

This workshop not only promotes self-reflection but also encourages practical strategies for self-care and stress/trauma reduction, ensuring that the newfound self-awareness translates into tangible improvements in daily life.

This wananga|workshop places importance on self-compassion, and offers strategies to help you manage and reduce your stress or trauma responses more effectively.

This wananga|workshop is for anyone who wants to:

  2. identify strategies to reduce and manage your stress responses
  3. have more productive thoughts that support your wellbeing
